Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is seeking an experienced and motivated Survey Department Manager to lead and grow our Towson, Maryland survey operations. What You’ll Do:

Lead, mentor, and oversee survey crews and office staff , fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Manage multiple survey projects from proposal through completion, ensuring quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Perform contract administration , budget management , resource allocation , and project scheduling .

Prepare and review plats , legal descriptions , boundary surveys , topographic surveys , ALTA/NSPS surveys , construction staking , and other survey deliverables.

Ensure all work complies with applicable surveying standards , Maryland regulations , and ethical practices .

Coordinate effectively with clients , engineers , project managers , and regulatory agencies .

Monitor project progress and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget .

Provide technical guidance and professional judgment on complex land surveying assignments.

Support business development efforts and identify opportunities for departmental growth.

Champion a culture of safety , quality control , accountability , and continuous improvement.
