Registered Nurse (RN or LPN) Mohs Surgery

**This is a Monday through Friday position and works at three different locations each week. Surprise, AZ (1 day), Peoria, AZ (2 days) and Phoenix (Tatum/Shea - 2 days). Candidates must be willing to rotate to all three offices and work 5 days a week to be considered.**

The RN or LPN will provide direct patient care in Mohs surgery procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the clinic and outpatient setting
• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment, maintaining sterile field during procedure and assisting with hemostasis
• Monitor patients during surgery and ensure their safety and comfort
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications and local anesthesia as directed by the surgeon
• Document patient information, including surgical procedures and post-operative care
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and recovery

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an operating room setting, preferred
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the surgical team

The nurse will be expected to perform duties outside of this list for the well-being of patients and overall needs of the practice.
