Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Long Term Care

About the Role

As a CNA, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support to our residents. Under the supervision of our licensed nursing staff, you will assist with daily living activities, provide emotional support, and promote independence. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to build rapport with residents will ensure a high level of satisfaction and quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, ambulation, and range of motion exercises
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and medications
  • Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and discharge planning
  • Empower residents to maintain their independence and dignity

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Oklahoma
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to resident care
