AP Executive Staffing is partnering with a growing global manufacturer to identify a talented Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A for a full-time onsite opportunity in North Tonawanda, NY.
This highly visible role will partner closely with Sales, Operations, and Executive Leadership to drive forecasting, profitability analysis, budgeting, and strategic decision-making across a rapidly expanding U.S. business. The organization is experiencing significant commercial growth, creating an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys blending analytics, business partnership, and strategic finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting activities, including revenue, margin, and expense forecasting
- Partner with Sales and Operations leaders on budgeting, planning, and financial performance analysis
- Perform variance analysis, root cause analysis, and profitability reporting to support business decisions
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and executive-level reporting packages
- Support working capital planning, CAPEX analysis, and annual budgeting processes
- Prepare Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and deliver actionable financial insights to leadership
- Analyze trends related to bookings, backlog, pricing, margins, and overall commercial performance
- Support sales incentive compensation modeling, forecasting, and rebate accruals
- Utilize BI and visualization tools to enhance reporting and business insights
- Identify process improvements that strengthen forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and data integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience
- Minimum 2 years supporting a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience partnering with Sales, Operations, and cross-functional leadership teams
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and executive reporting
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Anaplan, Prophix, Infor LN, or similar BI/planning tools strongly preferred
- CPA and/or public accounting background highly preferred
- Strong communication skills with ability to present financial insights to executive leadership
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
