Duties

  • Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments
  • Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members to build a high-performing workforce
  • Manage employee orientation, training, and development to enhance team skills and engagement
  • Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential
  • Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, providing outstanding service and resolving issues promptly
  • Coordinate scheduling, shift management, and payroll processing to maintain optimal staffing levels
  • Implement sales strategies, pricing adjustments, and promotional campaigns to meet or exceed targets

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail management or assistant management roles with supervising responsibilities
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
  • Demonstrated expertise in inventory control, POS systems, cash handling, and retail math
  • Skilled in negotiation, customer service excellence, and employee training & development
  • Knowledge of merchandising, marketing strategies, and retail sales techniques
  • Experience with budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
  • Prior experience in grocery or general retail stores is advantageous but not required
  • Ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all store operations
  • 2 years of retail management or equivalent

Pay: $45,250.73 - $54,495.50 per year
