Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time

Eugene, OR CareNational is now hiring a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract with a reputable Long-Term Care/Rehab facility in Eugene, OR. This is a rewarding opportunity to help residents regain communication and swallowing abilities while working a consistent weekly schedule.

Pay Details: $27.33 - $28.67 per hour DOE

Work Setting: Onsite | Rehab Department - Long-Term Care / Post-Acute Facility

Position Details: Schedule: Monday through Friday Shift: Variable Shifts Hours: 40 Hours per Week (5 x 8-Hour Shifts) Type: Full-Time Contract Start Date: ASAP

Certification Requirements: Speech-Language Pathologist License - Oregon (Required) BLS Certification - (Required)

Skill Requirements: Valid SLP licensure in the state of Oregon Strong knowledge of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders Ability to develop and implement personalized treatment plans Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in clinical documentation and care planning Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or post-acute care preferred

Key Responsibilities: Identify patient needs and determine appropriate speech therapy interventions Deliver therapy services in compliance with physician orders and state/federal guidelines Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure patient-centered care Promote the highest possible physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each patient Document all services provided in accordance with regulatory standards Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Provide education and support to patients and families regarding therapy goals
