Afternoon Teacher

• *Not a seasonal or temp position**

Child Care Position: Sacred Heart Plus is an after school, extended care, and summer program that provides a Christian atmosphere where the children can play and use their creativity through many activities provided to them.

Part Time hours: During the school year: Afternoon shifts available 2-6pm - must be available at least 3 afternoons a week. Must be available to start 2 or 2:30. End time 5:30 or 6pm. There is possibility of more hours . During the summer: we can be more flexible on schedule to include more hours or a variety of hours

Must be 16 years old; prefer 18 year old or older.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Be able to think on spot with ideas that engage children.
• Provide positive communication and body language at all times.
• Supervise children carefully and consistently indoors and outdoors.
• Maintain and support a structured environment and routine that provides children with consistency.
• Provide consistent, positive guidance and behavior supports.
• Perform other duties as assigned such as cleaning

Must be able clear state/federal background check.

Various training prior to or within 60 days of hire: First Aid/CPR; Mandatory Child Abuse Reporting; Universal Precautions; Child Care Pre-Service Essentials Training; VIRTUS
