Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeping professional to ensure the cleanliness, comfort, and overall maintenance of residential or commercial spaces. This vital role involves creating a welcoming environment by performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks with precision and care. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors using appropriate floor care techniques.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Use manual handling techniques safely to lift heavy furniture or equipment during cleaning or rearrangement tasks.
• Manage custodial supplies inventory, restocking cleaning products and equipment as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally while maintaining a friendly attitude.
• Follow established housekeeping management procedures to ensure consistency in quality and safety standards across all tasks.
• Utilize janitorial experience to operate specialized cleaning equipment like carpet cleaners or floor polishers effectively.
• Assist with special projects such as deep cleaning carpets or upholstery, ensuring all areas meet high cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
• Customer service skills to interact positively with clients and guests.
• Experience with laundry processes and custodial duties is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as polishing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning is advantageous.
• Previous housekeeping management experience is a plus for leadership roles within the team.

Pay: $15.00 - $15.60 per hour
