Description - What You'll Do Carry out both routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-according to established protocols. Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot potential issues, and manage the preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments. Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required. Thoroughly document all procedures, assist in training new personnel, and contribute to maintaining lab quality standards. Ensure a clean, safe laboratory environment while adhering to all regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards. Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) certification to be obtained within one year of employment. Commitment to maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
