Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Location: Rochester, NY

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Shift Timings: Mid 4x10-Hour (1:00 PM - 11:30 PM or 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM)

Pay: $2000/ week

Job Description:

• Assist surgeons, registered nurses, and other surgical team members during a wide variety of operative procedures in a high-volume Operating Room setting.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment while ensuring adherence to aseptic and sharps safety protocols.
• Support multiple surgical specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Bariatrics, Thoracic, Urology, ENT, Gynecology, Plastics, Podiatry, and Robotics.
• Experience in Bariatric, Vascular, Thoracic, Orthopedic, and Neurosurgical procedures required
• Trauma Level II and Community Hospital experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of sterilization, decontamination processes, and surgical instrumentation
• Ability to work across multiple surgical service lines and take call as required

Requirements:

• 3+ years of recent Operating Room Surgical Tech experience
• Current CST Certification required (NBSTSA preferred)
• Previous Travel Experience Required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
