Warehouse Picker/Packer

Responsibilities

• Utilize the warehouse management system to accurately pick and pack customer orders
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading trucks
• Follow established procedures for inventory management and stock rotation
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to ensure efficient operations
• Operate a pallet jack to move products within the warehouse
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues

Skills

• Experience as an order picker or in a similar role
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks on a regular basis
• Proficient in using a warehouse management system for order picking and inventory management
• Familiarity with picking, packing, and shipping processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Physical Demands

Heavy Work involves exerting 50 – 100 pounds of force occasionally, or in excess of 50 pounds frequently or in excess of 20 pounds constantly to move objects. Frequent reaching and/or grasping using hands and/or arms. Frequent use of hands requiring dexterity in using the telephone, computer keyboard, or other objects. Visual ability including distance, peripheral and depth perception. Regularly required to talk and hear.
