Inventory and Accounting Bookkeeper

Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for an EXPERIENCED Bookkeeper for a landscaping company in Bradenton, FL

Duties:

• Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Manage customer invoicing for sod deliveries and installations
• Track and reconcile inventory purchases (sod, materials, fuel, supplies)
• Process payroll and maintain payroll records
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Maintain vendor accounts and ensure timely payments
• Track job costing for projects and delivery routes

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper (verifiable 2+ years)
• Experience in landscaping, construction, agriculture, or supply-based businesses preferred
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online)
• Experience with payroll processing
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle confidential financial information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
