Licensed Senior Underwriter - Restaurants

Managing the underwriting process for restaurant risks, the full-time Licensed Senior Underwriter - Restaurants will analyze applications, negotiate pricing with brokers, and ensure adherence to program guidelines while working remotely. Key responsibilities Underwrite restaurant risks for primary package and excess/umbrella lines of business Analyze and evaluate applicants to ensure proper risk selection and negotiate pricing and coverage with brokers Rate and quote new and renewal business while adhering to underwriting guidelines and maintain proper file documentation Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 5 years of Commercial Package (ISO-based) underwriting experience Prior experience underwriting restaurants is required Property and Casualty Insurance license Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ISO-based rating
