Role Description The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Creedmoor, NC. This position is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing materials, including receiving deliveries, verifying orders, and preparing products for shipment. Day-to-day tasks include packing and labeling orders, organizing and maintaining inventory, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks as needed. The specialist will work closely with production and customer service teams to ensure accurate, timely shipments and efficient flow of materials in the warehouse. Attention to detail, safe work practices, and clear communication are essential to support smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Shipping & Receiving, including verifying orders, managing documentation, and coordinating deliveries.
  • Experience with Packing and preparing products for shipment, with attention to accuracy, protection of materials, and labeling.
  • Knowledge of Inventory Control practices, including tracking stock levels, organizing materials, and conducting counts.
  • Ability to perform Unloading and loading tasks safely, including handling heavy or bulky items.
  • Proficiency in Forklift Operation and use of other warehouse equipment, following all safety guidelines.
  • Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work on-site in a physical, hands-on environment.
  • Basic computer skills for order tracking, inventory systems, and communication.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required and follow safety protocols in a warehouse setting.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills; experience in manufacturing, construction, or warehousing is a plus.
