Elementary Pediatric School Registered Nurse | Madison, Wisconsin

Work with students across a range of grade levels in a dynamic educational environment for the upcoming school year. This full-time role centers on providing one-on-one and group care for pediatric and school-aged children, from early childhood through high school, within a welcoming school district setting. Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required
• Minimum of 1 year prior experience in a school-based nursing role
• Proficiency supporting students in early childhood, elementary (K5), middle (68), and high school (912) grades
• Experience with 1:1 pediatric care preferred
• Strong communication skills for engaging with students, families, and educators
• Ability to perform efficiently in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team setting

Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily health assessments, medication administration, and emergency care as needed
• Provide individualized care and support for students with specific health concerns or needs
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation per school and regulatory guidelines
• Educate students and staff on health, wellness, and disease prevention topics
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans
• Respond promptly to medical incidents or emergencies
