Home Health Aide (HHA / Caregiver)

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support so seniors can live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range‑of‑motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document client condition, and notify supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and active HHA certificate in FL.
• At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare role (preferred).
• Level 2 background screening (fingerprinting).
• CPR/BLS certification.
• COVID‑19 vaccination card.
• Valid FL driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
• Compassionate and helpful nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
