As an Electrical CA Specialist with Swanson Rink, you will play an integral role as an extension of our electrical design team. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting, fast paced projects with high-profile clients in a collaborative process to find the right solutions for their unique needs. You will work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Senior Engineers to ensure that our exciting projects are being constructed as designed.

That's why we offer stock incentive plans to every employee, with opportunities that grow with your tenure. Work with the Project Managers and Engineering discipline leads to track and closeout all construction related submittals and request for information (RFI's).
Act as the liaison between contractor and the design team during the construction administration phase to address questions regarding the design and/or field conditions prior to item being memorialized into an RFI.
Conduct or coordinate site visits based on the progress on-site. Observes the Work in progress and issues reports to the Contractor and Project Team to identify general progress, contract schedule compliance and construction document deviations.
Participate in weekly construction meetings led by the Contractor team.
Participate in Commissioning Planning as needed.
Peer review design documents, schematics, and specification sheets as part of the Quality Control process for upcoming projects.
Evaluate the Construction Administration process and implement process improvements, e.g., project consistencies, close-out procedures, technology, QA/QC procedures.
Stay up to date on National Electrical Code (NEC), IEEE, NECA and other relevant industry regulations and requirements, current OSHA standards and active project safety requirements.
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a licensed Master Level Electrician/Electrical Contractor.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in the areas of project and construction management on green field multi-building construction sites.
Must be willing and able to physically walk and climb stairs, scaffolding, etc. on a large active project site.
Experience with hyperscale data center construction projects is a plus.
Must be available to travel approximately 40-50%.
Requires the ability to pass background checks, security screenings or drug testing as required by our clients and/or Federal contracts.
