Job Summary

Caliber Collision has an immediate opening for a Technician Apprentice Program (TAP) – Body Apprentice at Service Center Bardstown. The role involves performing all-purpose duties, including repairing damaged vehicles to pre‑accident condition using industry‑approved techniques, learning all training material and hands‑on skills, reading estimates, identifying damage, repairing vehicles, and checking work for quality and accuracy while following the mentor’s direction.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
  • Nice to have: Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo‑Tech certification.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Abilities / Skills / Knowledge

  • Ability to perform consistent physical activity—reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
  • Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast‑paced environment.
  • Complete required training and certifications related to TAP.
