Warehouse Lead/Forklift Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Lead/Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage inventory control, and lead a team of warehouse associates to ensure efficient distribution processes. Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely to move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using Cin7 warehouse management system.
• Oversee inventory control procedures to ensure stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards, conducting regular safety inspections and training sessions.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate shipping & receiving activities with 3PL providers and internal departments to meet delivery deadlines.
• Assist with process improvements related to materials handling, warehouse layout, or workflow.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations related to heavy lifting, mechanical operation, and hazardous materials handling.

Experience

• Proven experience in warehouse operations with a strong background in warehouse distribution and inventory management.
• Prior experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Lead is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating forklifts and other mechanical equipment safely; forklift certification is required.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of logistics principles including shipping & receiving procedures and 3PL coordination.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards related to warehousing activities.
• Experience working within e-commerce environments is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment is advantageous.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
