The Axel Group is seeking a qualified Project Manager to join our client's team based out of Seymour, CT

Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall administrative and technical direction for construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with design specifications.
- Oversee total construction efforts, including interfacing with owner representatives, subcontractors, and lower management.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities of company personnel assigned to projects.
- Develop work schedules, determine manpower levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements.
- Maintain official project logs and documentation files using Procore.
- Monitor and control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendents.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions, including scheduling, engineering, material control, and day-to-day direction of on-site administrative staff.
- Provide technical assistance and interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment as required.
- Ensure all on-site personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, and work rules.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company’s interests and maintain good relationships with owners.
- Represent the company in project meetings and perform additional assignments as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Strong organizational and systematic approach to work.
- Thorough knowledge of construction activities and related functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain good relationships with the crew.
- Understanding of construction designs and plans.
- Proficiency in project management software, preferably Procore.
