Our client, a California-exclusive workers' compensation defense firm, is seeking Workers' Compensation Defense Attorneys to join their growing team.
What You'll Do
Represent employers and insurers in all aspects of workers compensation defense before the Workers Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB), including hearings, conferences, and trials
Manage a full caseload and drive claims toward efficient, favorable outcomes
Take and defend depositions, including medical depositions when applicable
Draft and argue motions and prepare legal filings under California workers' compensation law
Negotiate settlements and resolve claims strategically
Conduct legal research related to workers' compensation statutes and case law
Maintain regular communication with adjusters and clients regarding case strategy and status
