Role Description The Landscaper is a full-time, on-site role based in St Louis, MO. This position is responsible for performing daily landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, and general lawn care for commercial properties. The Landscaper will care for plants and garden beds, assist with irrigation system checks and basic troubleshooting, and support landscape installation or enhancement projects as needed. The role involves operating landscaping equipment safely, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and following company standards for quality, safety, and customer service.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Landscaping and Landscape Maintenance for commercial and facility-focused environments.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Gardening and basic plant care, including weeding, pruning, and maintaining garden beds.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Irrigation, such as monitoring systems, identifying issues, and assisting with repairs or adjustments.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Landscape Design fundamentals, with the ability to support layout and plant selection under guidance.
  • Ability to safely operate lawn care and landscaping tools and equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers).
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in commercial landscaping or lawn care is preferred; relevant certifications or training in horticulture or landscape maintenance are a plus.
