Summary Description:
The North America Manufacturing Financial Analyst is responsible for the Refresco North America business inventory process and control activities. This role will report to the Manager of Inventory Controls for Supply Chain Finance and will support key inventory control and reporting processes to assist Plant Finance in effectively managing the plant’s inventory assets. Essential Functions:
Key Accountabilities:
Inventory Controls Management & Analysis Responsible for supporting inventory control processes, assist with managing the cycle counting/annual physicals and support in management reporting. This position will work with the senior financial analyst and manager to perform the following responsibilities:
- Onboard new inventory control personnel to ensure strong inventory control skillsets to support the Refresco North America plant network.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and processes. This includes plant assessments to validate control processes are in place and provide additional training as needed.
- Ensure newly acquired facilities are appropriately integrated for inventory control processes into the network. This includes training (on-site where practicable).
- Support coordinating and preparation for the annual physical inventory including required documentation and accuracy of validating inventory variance reconciliation for external & internal audit.
- Support coordinating and preparation for annual customer audits.
- Support inventory related system and process projects focused on continuous improvement.
- Support inventory and waste analysis to identify cost down opportunities actionable by plant management.
- Ensure policy compliance via monthly consolidation of plant KPI reporting to monitor inventory accuracy via cycle counting.
- Support adhoc inventory transactional research and troubleshooting to rectify issues and mitigate financial reporting concerns.
- Provide help desk inventory control support for network.
- Work cross functionally to review and update inventory control and reporting policies.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to utilize SAP and Excel to navigate through large data sets and summarize findings with strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain or supply chain experience a plus.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work cross functionally with adept people and process management skills.
- Self-starter with strong time management skills, task prioritization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, balance multiple tasks with changing priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, concisely summarize ideas, and provide solutions.
- Authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship.
Education and Experience:
- S. / B.A. degree in Finance or Accounting preferred or related experience.
- Manufacturing/Inventory and SAP experience highly desirable.
- Two or more years related work experience in manufacturing or industrial environment. Food related manufacturing a plus.
