Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) who are committed to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care. If you have a passion for helping others and want to make a significant impact in emergency medical services, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess emergency situations quickly and determine the best course of action by following established Paramedic protocols.
- Provide advanced medical care using vital equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, ensuring patients receive the best treatment possible.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to reassure them and provide updates regarding care.
- Lead Paramedic teams, taking charge of scene and unit management when necessary.
- Respond to emergencies by driving the ambulance and ensuring timely arrival at the scene.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, public safety personnel, and fellow EMTs to provide exceptional patient care.
Qualifications:
- Education/Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- California Driver's License.
- Valid Ambulance Driver's License.
- Medical Examiner's Card.
- State of California EMT License.
- Current CPR Certification (AHA only; handwritten cards not accepted).
- ACLS and PALS Certifications (AHA only; handwritten cards not accepted).
- Driving record must comply with company safety and driving policy (proof required for conditional employment).
ICS Training:
- Complete required ICS courses: IS-100B, IS-200B, IS-700A, and IS-800B.

Salary Range: $22.39 - $24.98 per hour, based on experience (This rate applies to both 12 and 24-hour shifts).
