Location: Miami, FL

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Salary: $70,000 per year

Position Overview

The Human Resources & Payroll Specialist will play a critical role in supporting both employees and business operations. This position is responsible for payroll administration, employee onboarding and offboarding, HR compliance, benefits support, employee relations, and accounts payable functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process biweekly payroll accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies
  • Support benefits administration and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes
  • Complete and verify I-9 employment eligibility verification for all new hires and maintain compliant documentation
  • Maintain accurate personnel files and HR documentation
  • Assist with employee relations matters and support performance management initiatives
  • Support recruiting efforts, interview coordination, and applicant tracking activities
  • Process accounts payable transactions and maintain financial records
  • Prepare HR, payroll, and accounting reports as needed
  • Ensure confidentiality of employee and company information
  • Partner with management to support day-to-day HR and operational needs

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of hospitality industry experience preferred
  • At least 1 year of accounts payable experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of payroll administration, HR compliance, employee relations, and personnel records management
  • Experience completing and managing I-9 verification and compliance documentation is required
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience with HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, and payroll platforms preferred
  • Experience with iSolved payroll software is a plus
