Position:

Mobile Urgent Responder

Hourly:

$36. 00 - $45. 00 hourly, depending on experience

Service Area:

Twin Cities Metro area. Plus, mileage reimbursement of 72. 5 cents per mile.

Schedule:

0. 75 FTE. Three (3) daytime, 10-hr shifts/week. (rotation:

every 4th weekend, 2 holidays per year and no-call)

Position Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to calls for acute medical support and provide timely interventions to individuals in various settings, including homes, senior living campuses, workplaces, and public spaces.
  • Collaborate closely with members' primary care team, community resources, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure coordinated care and optimal member outcomes.
  • Act on existing contingency plans co-created by the member and our primary care teams, following established guidelines and protocols to address acute health care needs effectively.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art equipment for point-of-care diagnostics to perform accurate assessments and provide timely interventions.
  • Document all client interactions, assessments, treatments, and follow-up care accurately and comprehensively in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Provide compassionate support and education to clients and their families regarding their medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventive health measures.
  • Participate actively in ongoing training, skill development, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical proficiency and service delivery excellence.
  • Adhere to all legal and ethical standards, regulations, and organizational policies governing nursing practice and acute response services.

Qualifications:

Education • Either a valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or certification as a Community Paramedic in the state of Minnesota.

  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Experience • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in acute care settings preferred.

  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a human-centered approach to care.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other relevant healthcare technology platforms.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, privacy, and professionalism in all client interactions.

Preferred Qualifications • Certification as a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) desirable.
