Deicing Assembler
Looking to start a career in manufacturing or hands-on production? This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals who enjoy building things, working with their hands, and learning technical skills in a team-oriented environment. We welcome recent graduates, including those from BOCES, vocational schools, technical programs, and trade schools, who are looking to gain real-world manufacturing experience.
What You'll Do
- Assemble deicing components and materials using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment
- Follow work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to complete assemblies
- Use fixtures and tooling to build products accurately and consistently
- Perform basic production tasks such as adhesive application, material preparation, and component installation
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Record production information using scanners and other tracking systems
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow written instructions, diagrams, and standardized procedures
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and measurement
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light lifting

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse experience
- Familiarity with hand tools or power tools
- Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings
- Exposure to electrical, mechanical, or composite assembly
- Experience working in a production environment
Important Requirements
- Ability to work on projects subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), requiring U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) status
Schedule & Work Environment
- Monday-Friday
- 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Consistent daytime schedule
- Standing for most of the shift
- Frequent use of hand tools, power tools, and production equipment
- Light lifting up to 10 lbs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
