Hydraquip is a fluid power distributor for over 40 world class brands of products as well as a provider of value added solutions to customers including pump/motor assemblies, mobile valve assemblies, hose kits, repair, hydraulic power units and electrohydraulic solutions. The Hose Technician – Level 1 is responsible for all aspects of hose assembly, quality control, packaging, tagging and kitting.
Specific responsibilities may include:
Fabricates Hose assemblies as per customer specifications.
Fabricates and identifies Hydraulic hose assemblies.
Calibrates and resets hydraulic hose crimpers.
Measures and calibrates hose ends on permanent style fittings.
Uses digital calipers to determine crimp quality and integrity.
Fabricates hose assemblies using the reusable style hose fittings.
Accurately measures and sets phase angle orientation on hydraulic hose assemblies, permanent and reusable styles.
Provides customer sales counter service as needed for parts and service operations.
Maintains good technical skills and upkeep in training within the fluid connector business.
Operates hose cut-off machine.
Works safely at all times. Adheres to all applicable safety policies. Complies with all company policies, procedures and standards.
