About the Role

Barber & Associates is seeking a skilled Commercial Roofing Production Project Manager to drive our projects from initial handoff to final completion. In this role, you will serve as the central hub connecting estimators, field crews, and Tier 1 GC's . Your mission is to ensure every project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to our high standards of excellence. You will provide critical oversight on project financials, documentation, and quality control while supporting on-site field leadership.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution & Leadership

  • Direct Field Operations: Plan, organize, and schedule construction managers and subcontractors to meet project milestones.
  • Maintain Standards: Oversee the total construction effort to ensure work matches design specs, budgets, and schedules, AutoCad Drawings.
  • Support Field Teams: Provide direction and administrative support to on-site foremen and engineering functions.

Financial & Contract Management

  • Control Job Costs: Monitor labor productivity, material usage, and project margins to protect profitability.
  • Manage Financials: Handle contract billing, fee payments, rental equipment costs, and change orders.
  • Review Contracts: Analyze contract requirements, engineering drawings, and constraints to ensure accurate system design.
  • Procurement: Issue bid requests to engineers, subcontractors, and vendors, evaluating responses to award contracts based on value and capability.

Communication & Stakeholder Liaison

  • Client Relations: Act as the primary liaison for building owners and client representatives to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the Company: Lead weekly project meetings, track action items, and participate in strategy or labor negotiations.
  • Collaborate Daily: Interface smoothly with architects, engineers, union officials, and security personnel.

Risk, Safety & Administration

  • Mitigate Risk: Proactively identify and address potential schedule or budget issues before they impact the project.
  • Enforce Safety: Implement and interpret company safety programs and ensure strict adherence to all project policies.
  • Manage Documentation: Oversee project logs, permits, submittals, warranties, and final closeout files.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
