Overview
Consider joining the Pennex family as a member of the production team in our Leetonia, OH location.
We are seeking reliable and motivated Production Workers to join our aluminum extrusion and fabrication team. In this role, you will help produce high-quality aluminum products used across a variety of industries including automotive, construction, and consumer goods.
No prior extrusion experience is required - we provide on-the-job training!
This position offers stable, full-time employment with opportunities to grow into skilled positions such as machine operator, team lead, press operator, maintenance technician, or quality technician.
Shifts Available:
6:00am to 6:00pm with rotating days and weekends OR 8:00pm to 6:00am Monday through Thursday.
Pay: $18.50 to $20.50 an hour, based on experience. Shift Differential for off shifts is $1.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Production Worker, you will support daily manufacturing operations by:
Following all safety procedures and wearing required protective equipment
Assisting with aluminum extrusion press operations and related equipment
Loading and unloading aluminum materials and finished products
Inspecting products to ensure they meet quality specifications
Measuring parts using basic measuring tools
Packaging and preparing finished aluminum profiles for shipment
Maintaining a clean and safe work area
Communicating with team members and supervisors to keep production running smoothly
Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Additional technical or vocational training in machine operation or a related field is preferred
Experience
Familiarity with operating press machines, reading technical drawings or instructions, and using measuring tools preferred
Previous extrusion press experience or in a similar manufacturing environment preferred
