Skills

• Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints with GD&T
• Understanding of CNC machine operation, setup, and programming concepts
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Teamwork skills to maintain a safe and friendly working environment
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines
• Work from blueprints and process sheets to perform production tasks
• Inspect machining operations against specified tolerances and maintain quality and safety standards
• Identify and repair minor machine malfunctions
• Maintain organization and cleanliness within the work area
• Assist with CNC machine setup using basic G-codes for program prove-out
• Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications using various measuring tools
• Utilize work orders, blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to complete required tasks
• Load and unload parts onto the machine and ensure tools match those on the tool list
• Enter information into Camstar manufacturing platform and submit machine status reports
• Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and programming teams to resolve machining problems
• Set up and run machines utilizing knowledge of swiss turning machines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience
• High school diploma or GED required
