Logistics Associate

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. Responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. You will play a vital role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting order fulfillment processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Process outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners for efficient material handling.
• Assist with order picking, packing, and fulfillment for e-commerce operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely loading and unloading of goods.
• Perform basic math calculations to manage inventory counts accurately.
• Support inventory audits and cycle counts as required.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Experience in driving a box truck preferred.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP software.
• Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes including packaging standards.
• Knowledge of order fulfillment procedures in a warehouse distribution setting.
• Ability to use RF scanners for tracking inventory movements.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Math skills for accurate inventory management.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is mandatory.
• MUST have open availability-OT can happen at any time.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

• Shipping & receiving: 2 years (Required)
• Forklift: 1 year (Required)
