- *Job Overview:**
We are seeking a motivated full-time Real Estate Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating the purchase and sale of properties, providing guidance to buyers and sellers, and effectively negotiating contracts.
- *About US:**
Steven Hensley, our owner and team lead, got his licensed in March 2018 with the goal to bring a level of customer experience into the real estate world that did not exist. Our slogan of "No Sales, Just Service" was born shortly after. In July of 2021, Steven hired his first agent as a full-time transaction coordinator and the SCH Real Estate Team was launched. Since then our team has grown to nearly 25 licensed agents including 4 full-time operations staff who handle all your paperwork - yes, that is not a typo! They handle all the backend paperwork for us on every contract so you as an agent can focus on your clients. We have closed over 1200 transactions within the last 5 years, making us one of the largest teams by transactions and volume in the state of Tennessee. Well it's now June 2026 and "Houston, we have a problem". We have more leads than our team can handle which is a great problem to have. While most agents and teams are struggling in this market, we are growing due to our unique customer service focus rather than sales, sales, sales! Our team is different than your typical real estate teams. The money doesnt flow up to the top and agents work for pennies like most teams are designed but it instead, stays with the agents. Who wants turnover right? All our leads are inbound leads - yes, customers contact us when they have questions and want to see houses. One of our core beliefs is "if you help enough people the money will come" and that's true proven true for us. If you are looking to meet someone at a house and try to convince them to buy it then we are not the team for you. If you are looking to meet people, explain the entire process, create expectations as to what is going to happen next every step and help your new friend find the perfect home then we just might be a good fit.
- *Duties:**
- Assist clients in buying and selling
- Work evenings and weekends
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of current real estate trends
- Advise clients on pricing strategies and market conditions
- Prepare and present offers to clients
- Coordinate property viewings and inspections
- Guide clients through the negotiation process
- Ensure all terms of the contract are met by both parties
- Stay informed about fair housing regulations
- Communicate with clients in a timely manner
- *Skills:**
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Proficiency in administrative tasks related to real estate transactions
- Ability to negotiate effectively
- Knowledge of market trends is a plus
- Understanding of fair housing regulations
Clients typically want to view houses in evenings and weekends so if you want a Monday-Friday 9-5 this is not the job for you. We are only looking for full time agents and strongly prefer brand new agents or agents with little experience.
