Lead Senior Accountant

Join our dynamic team as a Lead Senior Accountant, where you will leverage your advanced accounting expertise to enhance our financial operations. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $67,000-$84,000 per year and presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to a global public company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entry preparation, review, and posting.
• Conduct detailed balance sheet account reconciliations and proactively identify discrepancies for resolution.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and other teams to support impactful business activities.
• Deliver crucial support for internal and external audits by preparing documentation and clarifying accounting conclusions.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance accounting processes and efficiency, including system enhancements and automation.
• Assist in interpreting and applying accounting policies and internal controls.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Experience in a SOX compliant environment is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets; experience with enterprise accounting systems is preferred.
