SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the organization’s
facilities and equipment. This involves performing routine maintenance tasks,
troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with
safety standards, maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
systems, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to maintenance
issues promptly to minimize downtime.
ESSENTAIL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE:
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC systems, plumbing and electrical systems
- Lubricate, clean, and replace parts as necessary to maintain equipment in good working condition.
2. TROUBLESHOOTING AND REPAIR:
- Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate solutions
- Repair or replace defective parts in various systems, including plumbing systems, electrical systems, and HVAC
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and fix issues
3. FACILITY PRESERVATION:
- Ensure that the building’s interior and exterior are well-maintained
- Perform minor construction tasks such as carpentry, painting and drywall repair
- Help maintain landscaping to ensure that the grounds are clean and presentable
4. SAFETY AND COMPLAINCE:
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and environmental regulations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Monitor and control maintenance inventory, ordering parts and supplies as needed
5. EMERGENCY RESPONSE:
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests
- Provide support as needed to address urgent issues during regular working hours
§ Cover after hours in emergency situations when director is not available and compensation will be paid accordingly
6. Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

QUALICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent, five years maintenance exp. Have knowledge of light-electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry required. Valid driver’s license required. Must have supervision experience of two or more year; or equivalent. .
Language Skills:
Ability to read and understand Agency and other related regulations. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with Co-workers, individuals, regulatory agencies and the general public.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use hands. The employee frequently must walk, talk, hear, and reach with the hands and arms. Occasionally the employee must crouch or kneel.

requirements. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
The employee must occasionally lift or move stock.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
