Responsibilities
- Perform line technician services, routine inspections, and system diagnostics
- Road test vehicles after repairs for mechanical soundness
- Display commitment to learning new automotive technologies
- Provide excellent guest service, including clear communication
- Mentor junior automotive technicians
- Document all work performed on repair orders
- Report safety issues to management immediately
- Promote teamwork and ensure accurate guest care during operating hours
- Maintain adherence to company policies on vehicle care
- Perform manual tasks, including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of automotive diagnosis and repair experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- ASE Certifications are a plus
Education Requirements Credential Category
Automotive technical education or related field is preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive diagnosis and repair
- Experience with exhaust systems, fuel ignition, electrical, air conditioning, and computer systems
