Rotating Shift Structure:
- 4-on/4-off rotation equates to 6-months off every year!
- Rotating day/night shift 1-2 times per year for 6 weeks
- 12-hour shifts: 7:00AM - 7:00PM / 7:00PM – 7:00AM
Compensation
- Built-in, guaranteed overtime
- “Free” hours on non-overtime weeks
- Total annual compensation starting at $64,000/yr
- Hourly Rate: $23.75
- Shift differential of +2.75/hr

What You Will Do
The Maintenance Mechanic I role is a facility and industrial maintenance position whose core job duties will include:
- Perform preventative/corrective maintenance on all facility and process related equipment to include make-up air units (MAU), natural gas fired generators, oil/water separators, cooling water towers, vacuum pumps, air compressors, variable frequency drives, boilers, steam systems, and associated equipment
- Analyze and repair all malfunctioning equipment or systems i.e., Mechanical, Pneumatic and Electro-mechanical
- Adhere to all engineering instruction, standard operation procedures, and all departmental procedures
- Observe and follow environmental, health and safety procedures.
- Positively represent Collins Aerospace’s company vision and support the management team
- Know, understand and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and consistently implemented
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with Distributive Control Systems
- Maintain accurate maintenance records utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Perform water treatment analysis and take corrective action
- Ensure a clean and organized work area is maintained
- Operate the following equipment and tools:
- Forklift
- 3-ton and 5-ton Cranes
- Hand tools
- Power tools
- Digital Multimeter
- Precision alignment tools
Qualifications You Must Have
- HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma a GED is required.
- 1 year of experience in a maintenance or other mechanical focused role
Qualifications We Prefer
- Background in electrical systems troubleshooting and repair
- Possess and practice good people skills
- Must have the ability to solve problems and exercise creativity to develop and/or implement practical solutions
- Must have the ability to evaluate work and exercise judgment
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office
