Job Overview
We are seeking a Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team. This vital role combines comprehensive bookkeeping responsibilities with office management duties, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, and possess a strong background in accounting systems, and office coordination. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing payroll, and supporting organizational efficiency through effective office oversight.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of bookkeeping using accounting software such as QuickBooks On LIne.
- Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and balance sheets to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, including tax filings and benefits administration
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and
- Assist with governmental reporting requirements and tax preparation activities as needed
- Oversee office operations such as supply management, vendor relations, and administrative support to ensure organizational efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in full charge bookkeeping with expertise in QuickBooks Online. Strong understanding of accounting principles including debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation
- Excellent skills in account reconciliation and bank reconciliation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
