Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Take accurate orders from guests using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient service
• Maintain thorough knowledge of beverage recipes, craft beer selections, wine varieties, and food menus to assist guests effectively
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately while adhering to food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, addressing special requests, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Assist with food service duties during busy periods, including serving food at the bar or in designated dining areas
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards through proper food handling, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations
• Support bar management with inventory control, beverage recipe development, and maintaining an organized bar area

Experience

• Proven experience as a server or bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail mixing techniques, wine varieties, craft beers, and brewing processes
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs gracefully
• Experience with food safety protocols and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and familiarity with food industry standards
