Part Time Afternoon Teacher

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Afternoon Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

The schedule for this position is 1:00-5:30pm Monday through Friday

Duties

• Following and support educational curriculum.
• Support individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
• Ensure a healthy classroom environment – including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.

Qualifications

• Experience working in early childhood education.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Strong classroom management skills to create a structured learning environment.
• Ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities, including those with disabilities.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and staff effectively.
• A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
