We are currently seeking a Sr. Analyst for Store Operations, a high-impact role focused on P&L management for Store Operations and Natural Disaster portfolios, overseeing approximately $500M in controllable non-labor expenses across 25 accounts. This position emphasizes planning, forecasting, and insightful analysis while contributing to cost management and savings initiatives.

Position Purpose: In this role, you will collaborate with stores, Regional Finance Leads, and Operations leadership to provide essential financial insights that support strategic initiatives and performance enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, Forecasting, and Reporting (40%): Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly financial reports. Use advanced financial modeling techniques for accurate forecasts and variance analysis to shed light on key financial trends. Present comprehensive reports to senior leadership with critical insights and potential risk assessments.
  • Preparing and Delivering Insights (30%): Create and deliver visually and verbally compelling financial analyses to business leaders, addressing projects and strategies while providing actionable recommendations based on a deep understanding of operations and financial impacts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration (20%): Work closely with business leaders, including VPs, to gain insights into their operations. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure alignment and clarity in financial narratives.
  • Project Based Analysis (10%): Perform detailed analyses to assist with investment initiatives and capital allocation. Develop financial models to forecast various scenarios and identify the root causes of potential metric variations.

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

  • This position typically reports to a Manager or Sr. Manager.
  • No direct reports are associated with this role.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional overnight travel is expected, less than 5% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time will be spent in a comfortable sitting position, with frequent opportunities to move. Some occasional lifting of light articles may be required.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is generally performed in a comfortable indoor environment, with infrequent exposure to any unpleasant conditions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Tableau.
  • Experience with presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Skilled in drawing conclusions from financial documentation.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including content organization and audience tailoring.
  • Agile and adaptable in learning new technologies.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Competent in crafting visual formats to convey analytical insights effectively.
  • Capacity to adapt and thrive in a dynamic organizational environment.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a high level of initiative.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, GBQ, and Tableau.

Minimum Education:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field of study.
