Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full Time Line Cook to join our culinary team and must have Sunday morning availability for brunch service. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring consistency, presentation, and adherence to food safety standards. The ideal candidate will bring extensive culinary experience, particularly in fine dining settings, and possess strong knife skills and food preparation expertise. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods.
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards.
- Serve dishes efficiently and professionally, providing excellent customer service when interacting with front-of-house staff.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs promptly to ensure uninterrupted kitchen operations.
Skills
- Extensive culinary experience with a strong foundation in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling.
- Proven proficiency in knife skills and meal preparation for diverse menu items.
- Experience working in fine dining establishments or high-end restaurants.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry.
- Ability to plan menus effectively, considering dietary restrictions and customer preferences.
- Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is advantageous.
