Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: Starting at $18.25/hour based on experience, plus a $2.00/hour Night Shift

St. Johns Packaging USA, LLC is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Night Shift Material Handler / Stand-Up Forklift Operator to support our warehouse and manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for supplying materials to production equipment, receiving shipments, moving inventory throughout the facility, loading finished goods, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has stand-up forklift experience, strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Do

• Complete daily forklift inspections and equipment checks.
• Report damaged equipment, product, or racking systems immediately.
• Operate a stand-up forklift to move materials throughout the facility.
• Supply raw materials to Press, Laminator, Slitter, and Converting departments.
• Receive and unload incoming Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) and full truckload deliveries.
• Scan, stage, and load finished goods for shipment.
• Transport work-in-progress (WIP) materials between production and warehouse areas.
• Use RF scanners to complete inventory transactions, receipts, transfers, returns, and job closeouts.
• Perform inventory counts and verify product locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality, and British Reputation through Compliance Global Standards (BRCGS) requirements.
• Complete required training and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 1 year of stand-up forklift experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating night-shift schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Forklift Certification

Candidates do not need to be currently certified. Successful candidates must be able to complete and pass St. Johns Packaging's forklift training, evaluation, and certification process upon hire.

Preferred

• Manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Inventory control experience.
