Role Description The Certified Public Accountant at Swamp Fox CPA, LLC will perform day-to-day accounting and tax services, including preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, compiling and analyzing financial statements, and maintaining accurate financial records. This full-time role involves providing financial and tax advisory support, researching tax laws and accounting standards, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The CPA will interact directly with clients to address questions, explain findings, and propose solutions that improve financial performance and minimize risk. This is an on-site position based in Summerville, SC, requiring collaboration with team members and participation in internal process improvements and quality control.

Qualifications

• Strong Accounting and Finance skills, with the ability to interpret and apply accounting principles.
• Experience preparing and analyzing Financial Statements for individuals and businesses.
• Proficiency in Tax Preparation for various return types and familiarity with relevant tax regulations.
• Active Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license in good standing or eligibility to obtain licensure promptly.
• Proficiency with accounting and tax software, and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities with high attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; public accounting experience is preferred.
