Quality Inspectors - 1st Shift Available

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our team and support production by ensuring the quality and accuracy of electronic components and assemblies. This position requires operating an Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machine and performing visual inspections using a microscope to identify defects. Ideal candidates will possess inspection or manufacturing experience and feel comfortable working with small parts in a detail-focused and hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Operate AOI equipment to inspect electronic components and assemblies.
• Perform detailed visual inspections using a microscope.
• Identify defects such as misalignment, solder issues, or damaged components.
• Follow standard inspection procedures and quality guidelines.
• Record inspection results and report defects to the appropriate team.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure product standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
• Support general quality control tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• Basic quality inspection experience within electronics manufacturing.
• Knowledge of IPC 610 standards and ability to identify basic defects.
• Experience using a microscope.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks involving small parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with components, testing, and blueprints.
• Ability to perform tasks while sitting down for extended periods.

Work Environment

Work in a temp-controlled environment with air conditioning. The role requires sitting down and performing repetitive tasks for the majority of the day, using a microscope or magnifying glass. The first shift runs from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. No heavy lifting is required, with a maximum weight limit of 25 lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
