Description - What You Will Do
- Conduct standard and complex clinical laboratory analyses-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-while following established protocols.
- Evaluate results with precision, address any discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
- Support specimen collection as needed and prepare samples for testing to ensure smooth operations.
- Thoroughly document all procedures, guide new colleagues or students, and contribute to sustaining lab quality standards.
- Uphold a clean and safe laboratory environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
Education • Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
Certifications • ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
