Position Summary
Executive Recruiter is a high-impact role focused on both revenue generation and talent acquisition. This individual owns the entire "360-degree" recruitment lifecycle: from identifying and securing new business to sourcing and placing top-tier candidates. Operating in a fast-paced staffing environment, the Executive Recruiter must be a tenacious and results-oriented professional capable of building a client book through persistent outreach while maintaining a high-quality pipeline of active and passive talent.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute a relentless outreach strategy to prospect, call, and pitch staffing services to new companies to secure job orders and signed service agreements.
- Build and maintain long-term, consultative relationships with hiring managers and HR leaders to become their primary talent partner.
- Deepen current client relationships by identifying additional hiring needs within different departments and cross-selling staffing solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing candidates in temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire roles.
- Proactively identify and engage passive "A-player" talent through advanced Boolean searching, social media, referrals, and industry networking.
- Manage the sales side of the desk by negotiating competitive bill rates, conversion fees, and direct-hire percentages.
- Conduct rigorous screenings to evaluate technical skills, experience, and cultural fit to ensure high-quality submittals.
- Coordinate interviews, deliver feedback, and manage the offer/closing process for both the client and the candidate.
- Maintain accurate, real-time records of all sales activities and candidate communications within the Applicant Tracking System.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (Human Resources, Business, or related field).
- 3+ years of business development experience required, specifically within the staffing industry or HR-adjacent fields (e.g., HR technology, payroll services, or PEO)
- Strong knowledge of sourcing tools, social media recruiting, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple job openings and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard business applications.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and goal-driven with a commitment to delivering high-quality results and a tenacious approach to business development.
