Driver / Operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions.

Minimum Education

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum Experience

None.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Neat appearance required for customer contact. Must work in a constant state of alertness and drive safely. Licensed for the type of vehicle assigned. Work at the FedEx location five days a week in New Hill, NC.
