Cleaners

Lackawanna. Global Concepts Charter School. Cleaner - Evening Shift. PT.

Part-time 20 hours per week, working Monday-Friday. Successful applicants will be required to obtain fingerprint clearance through NYS Department of Education, during the hiring process.

A Cleaner is responsible for all basic cleaning in and around the facility or office building.

Look out for any repairs needed and notify Supervisor

Dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning windows

Sanitize, clean and restock restrooms

Ability to identify and complete tasks without Supervision

Good Communication Skills And Can Work Well With Others.

Stock and supply faculty areas and classroom.

Maintenance or cleaning related jobs requested by Supervisor.

Competencies

Attention to detail. Understanding of how to handle cleaning products safely. Numeracy skills to measure cleaning fluids. Ability to operate cleaning tools, such as steam cleaners and floor buffers. Time management skills and organizational skills.

Education and/or Experience

Experience cleaning, repairing items, painting and general up keep for maintenance.
