Position Overview & Location
- 📍 Location: Multiple Locations, Maryland (On-site / In-home care)
- ⏰ Shift: Full-time (Flexible scheduling options available)
- 🗓️ Work Schedule: To be discussed based on client care plans
- 💰 Salary: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour (Competitive)
Key Responsibilities
- Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Mobility Support: Help clients with transfers, ambulation, and general daily mobility.
- Condition Monitoring: Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional health to the supervising nurse.
- Home Support & Nutrition: Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping tasks as needed to maintain a safe, clean home environment.
- Documentation & Safety: Maintain accurate documentation of all care provided and strictly follow all agency policies and Maryland state regulations.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support, trusted companionship, and patient-centered interaction.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Certification: Active and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maryland is required.
- Compliance: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and meet all standard employment requirements.
- Logistics: Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to designated client homes.
- Core Competencies: Compassionate, dependable, patient-centered approach with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Strong Assets)
- Current CPR certification.
- Prior experience in home care, senior care, long-term care, or disability support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently following explicit care plans.
